Prevent Wasps
It is important to prevent wasps from building nest near to your home or were you spend time outside. You can help prevent wasps invading by making sure there are no wasp nests around. If any are found and they are small enough to manage, they should be removed with the wasps being killed. If the nest is larger and you feel comfortable getting rid of it with the various ways possible, care should be taken. If you are not comfortable, then a professional should be called in to take care of it. Once nests have been gotten rid of, its important to keep an eye out for more in order to prevent more wasps appearing. Other ways to prevent wasps from nesting and being a bother are to stop them accessing places they may like to nest or were they seem to hang around. Insect nets can be used for stopping them getting to place they may like to nest. By using a low wattage light bulb in your front or back garden at night can help disturb wasps as they like a rest period at night. With a light on , this will disturb this pattern and they should leave and prevent them from returning.
