Some times it is necessary to kill wasps as they can be very territorial around a nest and cause problems, possibly for you and your family. The best way to kill wasps is by using many available insect repellents. The best time to kill wasps is when the sun is down as wasps retreat to there nest at this time. While possibly spraying the nest with a repellent, a few wasps may leave. They may be affected by the repellent and die and if not, the nest will be destroyed and they will more than likely not return. If you are going to attempt to kill wasps it is important to keep a good distance away from them. Stings from wasps can be very unpleasant especially when they are agitated and likely to sting multiple times. Wearing the rite kind of clothing is also important when trying to kill wasps. A wasps sting is rather good at penetrating many types of clothing. Wearing layers of clothing can help prevent being stung, have as little skin showing as possible by wearing gloves, hat and a mask if available. The more skin covered and the more layers covering your skin, the less likely you are to be stung.
