Deter Wasps
You can help deter wasps by making sure your garden is free of rubbish that may attract them and also keep bin lids tightly closed. During the summer many doors and windows are left wide open so keeping your home rubbish free is also important. Making sure food containers in your kitchen are closed properly will also help prevent attracting wasps. You can also try making a solution that helps deter wasps. The solution is made using a spray bottle filled with water, 2 table spoons of cayenne pepper are then added along with a squirt of dish soap. The mix should be well shaken then left to stand for a day. Before use, shake again. Spray the solution outside, around your home and this should help deter wasps. Wasps are very territorial, so a pretend nest may help deter unwanted wasps. You can purchase imitation wasp nests to hang in your garden or you could use a brown paper bag shaped and hung up in your garden to mimic a nest.
